Jane Becker, Attorney
Jane Becker has practiced in Santa Cruz since 1986. She represents taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and California taxing authorities (EDD, FTB and State BOE). She presently represents taxpayers in the IRS OVDI Program (Overseas Voluntary Disclosure) and FBAR audits and appeals (foreign bank accounts/failure to disclose the existence of foreign assets). Ms. Becker has served as secretary of the Tax Procedure and Litigation Committee of the Taxation Section of the California State Bar and as editor of the committee’s quarterly newsletter. She is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Taxation Section. Ms. Becker has lectured on state and federal tax issues to various attorney and CPA groups (the Santa Cruz County Bar Association, the Monterey County Bar Association, CalCPA and the California State Bar Annual Convention).
